NOTE: District Youth Chairpersons are required to have a current Working with Children Clearance or a Queensland Blue Card, please provide these details to Cabinet Secretary. 

• Encourage Clubs and Schools to participate in the Peace Poster and Essay Competition by promoting these competitions in various ways, e.g. Displays at District Convention, visits, and presentations to Clubs.
• Encourage Lions to commemorate World Peace Day. (21st September annually)
• Know the rules for participation in these competitions and assist with the judging of entries received and ensure winning entries are publicised as widely as possible.
• Liaise with Multiple District regarding the selection process and financial process.
• Set up a display stall at the November 2025 Convention to promote Lions Peace Poster.
• Establish NEW district project for Junior Public speaking.

• Submit goal statements, action plans and budget requests to Cab Treas by Mid June for the July Cabinet meeting.
• Provide a written report for each Cabinet Meeting highlighting significant results and issues arising since the previous report together with solutions implemented or sought.
• Attend all Cabinet meetings - But Not Required
• Reports directly to the district Global Services Team (GST) leader.
• Reports directly to the District Governor.

• As a district leader always project a positive image to all fellow cabinet officers, clubs and members. 
   
  The most important of them all is that we must always remember we are in Lions for the Community, not for our own glory or agenda. I only ask that whenever you are considering any subject or topic, you consider how it impacts our community, and not make life difficult or harder for any other cabinet officer's role.
   
  We are all Lions, because we want to Serve the Community!

• The District Governor would like to see regular articles supplied to social media and district webmaster/newletter about the impacts these programs are making in the community with the students who take part.
• A guest speaker at a cabinet meeting would be welcome.
• The District Governor would like to see the Establishment of a NEW district project for Junior Public speaking.
• The District Governor will request personal goals from the chair to be submitted by the July Cabinet Meeting

• "Keeping in mind the goal is simplicity and avoid unnecessary complications."
