The Annual General Meeting of Lions Camp Duckadang will be held on Sunday 14th September 2025 at the Morayfield and District Lions Den, 1 Maitland Road, BURPENGARY EAST 4505.
Time: 9.30am Registration
Meeting starts: 10.00am sharp
Light refreshments will follow.
Agenda:
Business includes Annual Reports and Election of Directors.
The full agenda will be provided closer to the date of the AGM.
The newly elected Board will meet at the conclusion of light refreshments.
Vacancies for Directors:
Lions PDG Greg Rollason, Libby Whitestyles and Grahame Riley will complete their current three (3) year term at the AGM.
Grahame Riley is retiring and is NOT seeking re-election to the Board.
Nominations for the position of Director, authorised by the Club President or Secretary will close with the Secretary at PO Box 1286, CARINDALE QLD 4152 at 5.00pm Friday 29th August 2025 or the letter can be e-mailed by the same deadline. Nominations should state that the nominee is an active member of the particular Lions Club.
Directors need to provide (or are able to obtain):
· a Working with Children Positive Card.
· a Director ID (contact the Secretary for information on how to apply).
Directors are involved in meetings, working bees, promoting the Camp, and planning improvements there.
Voting at the AGM:
Clubs are eligible to send Voting Delegates in the ratio of one Voting Delegate for every ten (10) members of major portion thereof, five (5) members being a major portion thereof.
Advice of Voting Delegates authorised by the Club’s President or Secretary is to be provided to the Secretary prior to the commencement of the AGM on 14 September 2025.
Directors may be appointed Voting Delegates by their Club.
