This position on the cabinet has been designed to coordinate and support all Guiding/Rebuilding Lions in the district. The position is part of the District Global Membership Team.  The overall role will ensure that the Guiding Lions are supported and have access to the knowledge and tools available to help grow and develop the clubs to which they are assigned.

• Be an active part of the District Membership team.
• Keep regular contact with all existing Guiding/Rebuilding Lions and assistance when necessary.
• Anticipate where the potential need for Guiding/Rebuilding Lions and lease with the Leadership team to put on a Guiding Lion Training is needed to provide Lions to fulfill this role in a particular area.
• Be aware of resources available from LCI and provide this information to Lions Clubs, ensuring they are aware that they can request assistance from the district.

• Submit goal statements, action plans and budget requests to Cab Treas by Mid June for the July Cabinet meeting.
• Provide a written report to the Cabinet Meeting if important action is required.
• Attend Cabinet meetings were possible
• Reports directly to the district Global Membership Team (GST) leader.

• As a district leader always project a positive image to all fellow cabinet officers, clubs and members. 
   
  The most important of them all is that we must always remember we are in Lions for the Community, not for our own glory or agenda. I only ask that whenever you are considering any subject or topic, you consider how it impacts our community, and not make life difficult or harder for any other cabinet officer's role.
   
  We are all Lions, because we want to Serve the Community!

• The District Governor would like to see regular articles on the district website via blog posts about the impacts that MEMBERSHIP and/or SERVICE impacts are making in the community. And the advantages of a club having an outsider point of view and assistance in making change within a club.
• The District Governor will request personal goals from the chair to be submitted by the July Cabinet Meeting

• "Keeping in mind the goal is simplicity and avoid unnecessary complications."
