GLT Coordinator
Goal Statement
The Global Leadership Team (GLT) plans, promotes and executes necessary training and development programs for Lions of District 201Q1 to ensure our organisation’s position as the global leader in community and humanitarian service. These programs will be delivered in line with the District Governor’s motto of “Serve with H.E.A.R.T.” (Honest, Empathy, Acceptance, Respect, Trust).
Area of Responsibility
- Contribute to the preparation of District Leadership Goals
- Liaise with District Governor in arranging Cabinet Officers Development Training
- Keep an up-to-date record of members attending training
- Inform Members of upcoming District and Multi District Training and encourage them to apply
- Arrange suitable training for Cabinet members at each Cabinet meeting
- Prepare action plans to deliver the goals contained in the Q1 Leadership Development Plan
- Assist in coordinating the activities of all aspects of Membership Growth activities
- To communicate on a regular basis with all members and to provide them with guidance and training where that is applicable
- Coordinate planning and conducting of workshops and seminars
- Motivate Lions executives to improve and develop their management skills

Grants Officer
Goal Statement
The Grants Officer aims to increase our clubs’ access to grant opportunities and grant information, and provides assistance to improve success rate of grant applications.
Area of Responsibility
- Conduct research on available grants at all levels; council, state, federal etc
- Promote available grants to our clubs via Cab Secretary, Newsletter, Website and Social Media
- Assist clubs with grant enquiries and where possible assist them with submissions
- Work with the District Operations team
